About my Studio
The studio Frieda Lühl Jewellery stands for handcrafted pieces of jewellery. Most of my pieces are once-offs and occasionally I produce limited ranges. I enjoy working on commissions with a special person in mind and like the idea that my clients own something unique. I work in gold and silver which I often oxidise. I like using precious materials in combination with materials uncommon to jewellery making. Working with all these materials is the most exciting part of the process for me. Simply put, I like making things.

About me
I grew up on a Farm in Namibia and went to school in the capital of the country, Windhoek. After my high school I spend seven years in Germany studying jewellery design and doing my apprenticeship to become a goldsmith. I went back to my home continent Africa opening my first own studio in Cape Town in 2004. In 2012 I relocated back to Namibia and opened my studio in Windhoek.
